Class begins at 8:00am and ends at 5pm. Every student will be provided training materials.

This course is designed to provide trainees on how to conduct an e-mail investigation, gaining valuable knowledge to understand procedures and then practically applying that knowledge.

  6. Retention Periods for major service providers
  7. Latest Fax and address information for Service Providers
  8. How to Write Search warrants for content
  9. MySpace and FaceBook logs
  10. Screen Name, Court Order and Search Warrants
  11. Preservation Requests for providers
  12. Hands on Lab Exercises

Trainees will gain knowledge on both theory & application of course concepts and the ability to perform an e-mail investigation.
